Check out this pic of the awesome Harry Potter cake made for the premiere of the last film!! :o how????? Maybe I should give up baking now… just kidding..but really, how?!
Well, yesterday I had my first Pin-Ups in Pinnies stall in full uniform. It was for a school’s 60th Anniversary party and was a real hit! The cake pops went especially well and sold out within the first hour! Here is a picture of me feeling very proud & smiley at my stall!
Wow, it’s been far too long since I posted on here! :s Will make an effort to be much more interesting from now on!! So, what’s happened since I last posted?! Well, I’ve performed in some great shows - last week I was at ‘Mama Sutras Box of Burlesque’ in Birmingham on Thursday & the special guest at ‘An Evening of Burlesque’ in Hull on Saturday. What fab shows to be a part of! They were both full to the brim of lovely fellow performers & great audience members.
It was also my birthday last week, and as a treat we went to go and watch a show for a change! It was Neil Kendall’s ‘Das Kabinet of Curiosities.’ I was blown away by the high calibre of acts, cheap yet tasty wine & great atmosphere!! All of which added up to a splendiferous night (and a slight headache the next day!) I got some lovely pressies too including a Lux de Ville hand bag from my gorgeous fiance, a Lux de Ville leopard print train case from my sister & mum (Lux de Ville did well from my birthday!), and lots of cake paraphenalia!
Last week also saw me attending a week long course with The Princes Trust regarding setting up my own business. It was amazingly informative and will be invaluable for my new business venture. I can’t wait to start writing out my business plan and getting the ball rolling on this!! I had a meeting on Wednesday to go through my next steps which involve uniform completion, promo shoot & market research - all of which I cannot wait to get started on! But first I have another busy weekend of performing ahead!! On Saturday I will be performing at the Officers Summer Ball on an army base (oo er!) and on Sunday I will be posing as a bearded lady on East Lancashire Railway steam train for people to drop in and draw - never a dull moment in this job!!!
So, for now I will sign off, with the promise to be much more reliable and interesting from now on!! x
I’m really pleased with my new logo for my baking venture ‘Pin-Ups in Pinnies’ by Nick Beedles - what do you think?! I’m in the process of getting my pin-up uniforms made as we speak then it’s on to sorting my website and we’ll be ready to go!!
Baking never looked so good ;)

Had a fantastic shoot today in Birmingham with Candee Photography! We took promotional shots for my 2 new acts - ‘Memento Mori’ and ‘By Moonlight.’ Here is a sneaky peak from the shoot! Will upload more soon..
